New Joy Fellowship Seventh-day Adventist Church is a Christ-centered, Bible-believing congregation in Hagerstown, Maryland, committed to helping people know Jesus, grow in faith, and serve others with love and compassion.

The Bible
The Bible is God’s inspired Word and our foundation for faith, truth, and daily living.
Jesus Christ
Jesus is our Savior, Redeemer, and coming King. Through Him we receive forgiveness, hope, and eternal life.

We are called to love God wholeheartedly and love our neighbors through kindness, service, and compassion.

Why We Worship on Saturday
The Sabbath
As Seventh-day Adventists, we worship on the seventh-day Sabbath (Saturday), following the example of Jesus and the teachings of Scripture. The Sabbath is a special time each week to rest, worship, reconnect with God, and enjoy fellowship with family and friends.

Pastor Melvyn Hayden, III
Pastor Hayden is passionate about helping people discover God’s purpose for their lives through biblical teaching, authentic relationships, and compassionate ministry.
Together with our church family, Pastor Hayden is committed to creating an environment where every person can experience God’s love and grow in faith.
